A story about ghosts and trains and kobolds

The clattering of the train echoed off the tunnel walls.
Esi stepped across the dark gap between the train's carriages, the sound of wind and clattering wheels muffled when she closed the door behind her.
The gentle hum of nixie lanterns and the stench of fear filled the air. None of the passengers moved, but they all stared at her. The ghost hunter's scales shimmered in the light as she peered around the carriage.
A young lady spoke up "is... is there something here?".
"Perhaps, what is your name, child?"
"Relomia, and I'm not a child."
Several quiet voices spoke, whispering her name back to her.
"Relomia... relomia..."
The voice seemed to come from the lanterns on the walls. Esi grinned as the colour drained from Relomia's face.
"You're childish enough," Esi said as the lights suddenly went out and a forceful orange energy rushed out of them towards Relomia.
She screamed.
Esi pounced fast, pulling a net out of her belt and catching the energy moments before it collided. And just as quickly, the glowing spirit was sealed away in a glass capsule.
She held it up and watched as it thrashed against its prison, then slipped it into a pouch.
"Now what have you learnt? That's right, don't say your real name if there's a ghost around," Esi said, patting the young lady on her head. She fumed.
"Oh and, someone needs to turn those nixie lanterns back on," the ghost hunter said as she pulled open the carriage door and disappeared into the darkness...
